The script

Underneath the crackling ice of this pristine landscape,
something sensational awaits.

Throughout time, the people of Iceland have endured the chaos of their surroundings, with nature’s contributions.

Created by dazzling purity beneath waves of northern lights intertwined in the vast ocean of the night sky.

Here, villagers of the West Fjords practice their forebears’ methods, using only geothermal energy.

The result? Only believed by those who experience it.
A substance demanded from their ancestors by the king.
A matter so historically valued, the world ‘salary’ is derived from its exchange.
— and as everyone aspires to achieve what they’re worth.
Saltverk already knows.

For their salt is of a quality only nature itself could achieve.

Saltverk — A pinch of Iceland.
